Artesian Fresh Sdn. Bhd. is working hard to reduce our impact on
the environment and reduce health risks that may impose in water
bottle packaging. The company is working closely with Universiti
Teknologi Brunei (UTB) to set up a water testing laboratory and
to develop biodegradable packaging from vegetation.
We continue to participate in research and development, in hopes to
set water testing standards that will facilitate the export of mineral
water. Similarly, we also continue to review packaging innovation to
minimize our impact to the environment.

GROUND TO A BOTTLED WATER
PRODUCTION FACTORY.
The spring water comes from the pristine untouched forest in Tutong district of Brunei Darussalam. The
land was previously used as a coffee plantation marketed under the brand name ‘kopi asli’. In 2010, the
land was transformed into a water bottling plantation when they discovered clean water sources and so
Artesian Fresh Sdn. Bhd was founded.
No equipment or pump is used to extract the water from the underground. The water naturally flows up
to the surface due to the pressure of the rocks underground through the 30-metre long pipe. The rocks
not only pushed the water upwards but filter the water from contaminants while picking up natural
minerals as well.
